Government has ambitious targets for the nation's fire and rescue services. WMRMB actively supports government's overriding aim to save lives and stop unnecessary injuries through more effective action to prevent fire and by ensuring that the region's fire and rescue services are well prepared and equipped to respond to the many challenges it faces. In facing the many challenges ahead WMRMB has adopted government's Core Values for the Fire and Rescue Service, seeing it as an opportunity to further improve civility and respect across throughout the region.
