E-Fire

e-fire is a national project, funded by the Department for Communities and Local Government, under the Local Government Modernisation Programme. With the active involvement of Fire and Rescue Services (FRS) and other stakeholders, a range of exciting interactive services and products will be produced to be delivered over the Internet, for citizens and business.

FireBuy

FireBuy is a single body which will carry out high-value purchasing deals on behalf of fire and rescue services in England. FiReBuy, will manage procurement on behalf of 48 fire and rescue authorities (FRAs).

National Procurement Strategy 2005-2008

FiReControl

Currently there are 46 fire control rooms in England, based at local fire brigades. The FiReControl project is working to move from the existing system of control rooms into 9 new amalgamated Regional Control Centres.

Firelink

Firelink is a central task force provided by the Department for Communities and Local Government to project manage the procurement and implementation of a National Wide Area Radio system for the fire and rescue service.

FireWorks

The Project aims to bring greater equality to the Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) through identifying and addressing the barriers to the employment, retention and promotion of ethnic minorities and women.

ICP - Integrated Clothing Project

The Integrated Clothing Project (ICP) is a key part of the National Procurement Strategy, which aims at establishing "FiReBuy" as a procurement body owned by Fire and Rescue Authorities.
